How does permit monitoring work?
Our system automatically scrapes official city permit databases every 10 minutes during the day. When a new permit matches your criteria (city, permit type, valuation range, address keywords), we send you an email notification — typically within minutes of the permit being filed.
Which cities do you support?
We currently cover 10 major US cities: San Francisco, Los Angeles, Austin, Seattle, Chicago, Columbus, New York City, Boston, Pittsburgh, and Washington DC. We're constantly adding new cities based on user demand.
How quickly do I get notified?
Our scrapers run every 10 minutes during the day. Once a new permit appears in the city's database and matches your alert criteria, you'll receive an email notification within that cycle — typically under 10 minutes.
Can I customize my alerts?
Yes! You can filter by permit type (building, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, demolition, renovation), valuation range, address keywords, include/exclude keywords, and priority level. Pro users can monitor all 10 cities simultaneously.
Do you cover my trade?
Yes. Building permits cover all trades — roofing, solar installation, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, general construction, demolition, and more. You can set up keyword filters to match only the permit types relevant to your trade.
Do you provide property owner contact info?
We provide the applicant name, contractor name, and property owner name as listed on the permit filing. This data comes directly from official city records.
How is this different from checking the city portal myself?
City permit portals are designed for compliance, not lead generation. You'd need to check 10 different websites multiple times per day, parse cryptic CSV formats, and manually filter through thousands of irrelevant permits. We automate all of that and deliver only the permits that match your criteria.

Can I cancel anytime?
Absolutely. There are no long-term contracts. Cancel from your account settings at any time.
