| Work description | Upgrade the existing 100A underground electrical service to a new 200A Square D meter-main, 30-space/42-circuit, NEMA 3R. The proposed design requests reuse of the existing 2-inch PVC underground service raceway with new SVP-approved 200A service conductors, subject to utility acceptance and contractor field verification of raceway condition and pullability. Transfer and reconnect the existing dwelling branch circuits to the new service equipment. Install one new dedicated 60A branch circuit from the proposed main panel to a hardwired Tesla Universal Wall Connector within the garage, using 4/3 NM-B (#4 H-H-N plus #8 GRD) as shown on Sheets E2 and E3. Upgrade grounding and bonding as required by the adopted California Electrical Code and SVP requirements. |
