| Work description | This project starts electrical renovations, after interior wall openings started under plumbing permit BLD25-02353. Although the project is in a townhouse in an HOA community, the scope of proposed renovations (interior only, except two outdoor receptacles outside of public view) does not require HOA review. The general idea is to use the now existing wall openings to either replace as much existing aluminum wiring as possible with NM-B, or leave tagged future use cables accessible in places where they can later be extended (with future permits). New circuits will be added to modern standards – specifically, adding dedicated bath circuits and kitchen appliance circuits. A like-for-like subpanel panel replacement is included to support the addition of all circuits required by modern code. All remaining aluminum wiring connections will be remediated with listed connectors and pigtails.
