Knives will be preserved for future use with repairs. Siding replacement will not change existing appearance. Contractor understands that work proposed behind new exterior siding (repair/replace/install insulation, sheathing, Tyvek wrap) will not change wall thickness. Repair windows in place as needed with in-kind materials: eg. replace trim and sill for non-historic north door and window; casing board on east window. Repair/replace new vertical corner boards where needed. Paint all siding, trim, sill, vertical corner boards. Will not change existing appearance.2. West facade: Repair siding in kind with wood as for east/north facade. 3. Front door: Repair and paint. 4. Windows: reglaze and paint.
