In accordance with DCMR 12A 705.8.7.3.1, since it is unknown if the adjacent property is sprinklered, or has a rated roof, openings would not be permitted in the new fa?ade of 1090 Vermont Ave. below a vertical distance of 12 feet above the adjacent property roof.
