| Work description | The project will consist of advancing soil borings into the subsurface at the property. The scope consists of advancing 5 soil borings to twenty feet below ground surface for the collection of soil samples and groundwater samples. The groundwater samples will be collected utilizing temporary monitoring wells. No permanent groundwater wells will be installed during this project. In addition, six soil gas borings will also be advanced to approximately 7 feet below ground surface for the installation of soil gas samples. Following the collection of the soil, groundwater, and soil gas borings the borings will be backfilled with either excess soil cuttings and/or benonite chips and the ground surface will be repaired as appropriate. |
